Crow Nation Joins Tea Party
“We want big government out of Indian Country!”
The Crow Nation and Big Horn Tea Parties held their first tea party protest today, February 15th, on the Crow Indian Reservation in Hardin, Montana.
Tea Party Patriots from several cities around the state joined the protest against big government. The Billings Tea Party group Montana Shrugged, helped the Crow Nation and Big Horn Tea Parties plan and hold their first rally.
The Crow Nation and Big Horn County Tea Parties are the first Tea Party organizations formed on sovereign Indian Nation territory. Additionally the Tea Party organizations represents a significant break with The Crow Nation Tribe who had adopted President Obama during the Presidential campaign.
Karmelita Plains Bull Martin of the Crow Tribe said “We want big government out of Indian Country!”
